i want to film a DIY Orion install, black out and maybe something special i got in mind for the pre-lci people video, but i obviously don't want to practice on my current headlight, so if anyone has a broken, damaged, gutted (don't need bulbs, ballast or anything, just as long as most of the headlight plastic is still there (at least around the edge where ill be cutting to remove it). let me know, donations welcomed i don't want to spend a lot on one, as it will strictly be used to film/take photos, then toss away (hence i prefer a broken damaged one), and ill also have to buy the Orions.

im not in a hurry for this project, but sooner the better! we all know a good solid Orion install DIY is missing from these forums. also if anyone shoot me some pointers who's done it them self, im all ears.

PM member nomis_nehc. He is\was the SoCal orion install guru here. I've seen his work in person and it looked a lot cleaner than some of the installed Orion pics I've seen posted here. He'll be good for pointers you're requesting.

Body shop says it's a go. Need to figure out shipping. I should be able to have it by end of next week. I'm working nights at a Nuc plant startup now, but will be done probably Monday. Couple of days to decompress before I visit the shop next week.

wow thanks, no hurry, i still got lots of planning to do and also still need to get orions, but knowing i got a practice set makes the planning more possible. let me know.
