I have a Sprint Booster BDD401A (for automatics) that I would like to trade for a BDD401M (for manuals). I just bought a 2008 550i Sport and the auto version is a little too aggresive for my wife. Andy from partsexplorer.com says the M version is slightly less agressive.
I will pay shipping for both items. Steve 602 619-9902 |
Hey I thought that the auto was the less aggresive of the two, that is why I have the auto version on my manual car.

From everything that I have heard from members here, the manual version is more aggressive and provides a greater throttle amplication signal than the SB for auto.

From below looks like BDD401M is for M-series cars. Still looking to trade a BDD401A for BDD401M Sprint booster.
Hi Steve, Actually, some 550i and 335i customers use BDD401M on their non M-series. The response time of 401M is a bit slower than 401A. If you install a 401M on 550i, the acceleration will be smoother than 401A. Let me know if you still have questions. Thank you, Andy Wong sale@PartsExporter.com |
