Don't give up just yet! Try to re-install it then go to autozone and have them clear the code.

Try to reconnect it. The first time I plugged mine in I had engine malfunction. Take it out and put it back in, make sure connections are tight.

reset the tranny to but holding down the gas for 20 seconds in the 2nd position, when the engine isn't on, just power.

I have the Velocity Booster and I have had the "Engine Malfunction" light come on a couple of times.... Do you guys really think the Velocity Booster is causing this? Does the sprint booster cause this warning to flash on as well???

Can you clarify this because it's not making sense to me? WHat do you mean "2nd position"? Do you mean in Reverse/Neutral????

tried just about everything...so i just go to the autozone and get them to turn off the engine malfunction check?
