I've been lurking and I see around that some of you want to upgrade your current system so that it has some more kick. I do not have the Logic7 sound, just standard 8" subs under seats.I was in the search for this but I wasn't going to pay big $ for something i couldn't guarantee would satisfy me. JLW Stealthbox for the E60 was extremely High priced and I'm a a Kicker fan. Solo Baric is the only way for me in this E60.

I used to deal with audio installation about 15 years ago. I decided to tackle this option myself. Although the subwoofers under the seats have some punch when the bass is turned up, they don't sound great. However when flat or negative on the bass they sound normal. So I created to my own liking and if some of you E60 owners want a similar setup let me know.
What I have:
1) HiFonics Titan TXI4008
1) 10" Kicker Solo Baric L5 2? DVC (RMS: 450 watts)
1) Customer Fiberglass kickpanel "stealth" enclosure that locks in place nicely and slides right out as needed. Best of all, it matches
Running amp @ 4?mono bridged. (400-W RMS x 1-ch @ 4?) Running Speaker at @ 4?

They match up perfectly and enough power to make my ears tingle, rear view and side mirrors vibrate. Sounds very Similar to two 12" MMATS speakers I had about 8 years ago.I can create the same box setup for you.The box depends on the speaker's requirements. How much you want? I'm actually working on some custom door panels for a friends car but I can definitely use this for my car.

 

GL looks good for a neat layout and keeping your trunk space .. the kicker offers good hard hitting bass with the right amp I had two 12" L7 before I got the jl audio w7 now my backseat is my truck

I sold this Speaker and box included to a memeber JGT on here for about $375 shipped. He received it and told me everything is good and asked for advice on how to install etc. Then he filed a dispute with his credit card stating item was broken. So pretty much I was taken for $375. I don't find it fair that he keeps an item and the money. So member JGT where are you now?

 

Wow, really sorry to hear that. I got a question...I love the way your custom box looks BTW. I have reading on the forums and I went to says that you cannot hear the sub through the trunk due to sealing. Is that the case with this or are you really just feeling the bass?
