Should I go straight to the dealer to order my shadowline trim? What should I expect to pay and is there a difference in price between the glossy and non-glossy finish?
try checking www.bimmian.com for oem parts at a discount or perhaps try other online authorized dealers that sell oem parts at a discount.
or perhaps... some1 may have a set for sale here. (i saw some1 trading a shadowline for chrome trim before on here)
and last thing, this is classifieds!! post this on e60 discussion or parts mods!

No, dealer will rip you off... check w/ Garry Romani of BMW Newport, RI -> http://forums.e60.net/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=193564
As for cost the non-glossy probably around $200-$250 and glossy maybe double.

Maybe this is a stupid point but for $500 maybe you can get a body shop to paint your trim and not have to worry about installation.

Hey Vermillo,
I dont know the difference in price of the two, but I just priced out a entire set of Gloss Black "Shodowline trim" for my e60 and the BMW of South Atlanta, and my cost was: $667.68 that pirce includes $43.68 of GA Sales TAX, I am going to try Garry at BMW of Newport and see if he can give me a better price for the parts, and if so, I am buying mine from Garry at BMW of Newport!!
Hope this helps!!
