yes, if the rear offsets on your 166 wheels are M6 offests you might rub with the 285's....

a good reference for tire sizes on 166's/167's

___the Rear 285/30/19 that I am selling here came off a set of BMW OEM 166 staggered rims that I ran on my on my 2004 530i e60 with the 2006 BMW OEM AERODYNAMIC KIT a non m5, but then in 2008 when I added the actual BMW OEM M5 front and rear fenders that required the BMW OEM 255/40/19 front and the 285/35/19 larger tires sizes for m5

I know that Some of e60 members ran the 285/30/19 on their BMW OEM Aerodyamics kits like I had then, And I HAD NO RUBBING ISSUES ( OM MY NON M5 fenders then with 166 staggered rims). You will need the 245/35/19 for your fronts and they either did not scub my non M5 stock e60 fenders when I had them in 2004-2008, then I bought the M5 fenders. But I used the stock e60 offsets on mine. Just check with other forums members, but you might want to check with Garry at BMW of Newport, or your local BMW dealer parts dept. to see about the offsets to be cetain.

Hope this helps!
