Thumbs down

Hey ladies and fellas!

Saw these laying around at a friend's shop, decided to post them for him.

OEM M5 rims, complete set.

All rims are true and are in usable condition.

The rims have some curb rash, so you might wanna have that taken care of first - if you want I can either recommend a good guy or just have it done for you at cost.

all 4:

A brand new set is only $1600....so you might want to reconsider price, esp. since the refinishing has to be priced in also.

Good luck.

Brand new set of OEM rims is $1600?

Says here that they are $551.30 each for fronts and $563.58 for the rears.

A $1000 for the whole set is less than half the MSRP price - and that's because of the rash. I'm not selling stolen rims here, pal You think its being unreasonable?

You know what, DrLev, I know you a long time on this forum and I respect your word, so how about this:

Price is now $1000 SHIPPED anywhere in the lower 48 States

Make me an offer - I'll talk to my friend - I'm sure, if its close enough, we'll be able to agree on a price, poeple!

You dont get it

BMW Newport sells these wheels brand new OEM with 25% discount for $1600

When is the last time anybody paid full retail for anything?

Its only worth what people are willing to pay, with all that curb rash expect to pay $100-$200 per rim to fix it. Most people will just buy new ones since your price with refinishing would be the same as new ones to begin with

Just FYI, shipping via FedEx should be no more than $89.96 insured to the 48 contiguous states.

I don't know where you got $200 per rim. I've spoken to a few reputable people about refinishing rims lately due to one of my own rims having been cracked not too long ago, so I can tell you with complete confidence: you can get it re-finished for $85-115 per rim. And considering that there is no bends or cracks - just the curb rash - I'd expect to pay on the lower end of that range.

yep, I'm definitely thinking about refinishing myself - just don't wanna put $$ into them to sell them to someone else.

Plus, if the new owner wants to powder coat, it'll be cheaper to refinish and powder coat, than to do each seperately....

But hey, I'm getting some interest on them, so we'll see...

All PMs replied, btw, but as of this writing, they are still available.
