If these are the standard M5 tires (255 & 285), they will NOT fit a standard E60 (Non-M).

Why?
The rear 285/30/19 tire should fit a non M5, (It did mine, a lot of others here at the e60 forum), but the front 255 M5 size tire will not fit the smaller non M5 front fenders, due to the e60 M5 is front fender is wider, and the non M5 suspension is different than the M5 and that could cause a problem too? For a non M5 you will need 245/35/19 for your front to make the 166 work with a stock e60 front fender.
Hope this helps

Correct. Sorry, I should have said the rear will work, but the front won't. 255 is too wide.

In reference to the front tire size, I have a 255/30/20 on the front and I have NO rubbing issues whatsoever
I keep telling these guys that all you gotta do is roll your fenders slightly and they ll be good to go. We put them on a 545i before and the guy had no rubbing at all.
