way too expensive for the spec of that computer... can get much better one for that price.... sorry but if you want to sell it quick you might as well sell it for $300 max with 80gb hdd and pc4200 ram.... with that spec it seems like 5 years old since pc4200 was ancient 4 years ago when vista started to come out and thats when alienware started to use pc5300 with at least 250gb hdd..
pc reselling isnt what it used to be...with prices so cheap on desktops and laptops, you need to find a TRUE enthusiast to sell to, and those are even hard sells because they know the cost of EVERYTHING.
i think ive even seen quadcore barebone kits for like 380

Since you guys already opened up the can, I bought my xps 710 with 19" dell monitor for $350. Added a gtx275 oc'd edition and 2 150gb 10k drives along with 2 other drives and I can run my graphics max'd out on almost everything.
Any of you guys play Bad Company 2?

i play civ 4, oblivion, fallout 3, and the occasional cs:source

hard drive is not problem. i can add a 250 its nothing. in fact it might be pc 5300 i have to check. basiclly the computer is costing around 400.00 for the tower and 400.00 for the screen. you cant get a alienware aurora desktop for 400.00 nowhere. a barebones case cost 180.00 to 200.00 on fleabay. so if you where to try n build the same cpu it would cost you at least 180.00 plus shipping just for the case to start with. add motherboard, ram, hd,videocard, soundcard,cd drive keyboard etc. your looking at around 600.00 to 700.00 for used parts and thats doing the work yourself plus you need to get op system. believe me you cant crap on my thread. i build computers and i know the costs. then add the screen and you are well over 1100.00 at least. like i said, im negotiable and im not looking to rape anyone. i have to move back home since i sold my apartment and i dont have space for it since my parents have a cpu. i also have a set of harmon kardon soundsticks that ill throw in which used run for 100.00 right now.
