Not to thread crap, but I am at a loss why the 24" monitor cost so much originally? How long ago did you purchase it?

I bought 2x HP 24" monitors about a year and a half ago for under $300 each (as I vaguely recall).

not to crap on your monitors but hp monitors are garbage. i paid 1200.00 for this monitor a couple of yrs back. its not worth 1200.00 now sice its yrs later. but if you try to get one now used it will still cost around 4-500.00. the alienware desktop has a nvidia 7900 gto geforce card, which is sli compatible. (you can run two cards at once) its 256mb which now you can buy 2056, but there is no difference unless you are overclocking it which 99% of us dont. its a 3.4 intel d processor and the motherboard is a asus p5nd2 sli alienware motherboard. audio card is a creative soundblaster x-fi. its a fantastic computer and runs excellent. price is negotiable as im not trying to get over or nothing. i really just dont have anywhere to put it since im moving.

I can vouch that the syncmaster monitors are awesome. I'm running 22" dual monitors and i couldn't be happier with the color and overall picture quality.
