I bought this from BavAuto in May 2009 for my 06' 550i, and this has been weekend car since end of 2008. This exhaust has roughly 9K miles on it.
The reason I sell it because it's loud, and I put back to stock. Probably, I'm getting old.
I had exhaust shop hang it to fit my M5 bumper. Pipes have never been bent by exhaust shop for fitment. It cost me less than $100 for installation.
This will fit either M5 or Mtech bumper.
Price: $749
Shipping cost: $75 (If it's less, I'll refund the excess amount. If it's more than $75, I'll absorb it)
PayPal fee: 3%, and it'll be on me.

For 535 and 550, an intermediate pipe is needed to be welded to connect output of the exhaust and this Remus. This is due to the output of stock exhaust is a bit larger than Remus input.
That is my case. When you want to put stock back, you only need to cut out the intermediate pipe and slide stock muffler back in as I did.

My Ride: '08 550i RD SPORT CATLESS QUAD EXHAUST, DINAN INTAKE, RPI, 3D DESIGN CF AERO, COILOVER, 19" OEM 172's
I bought this item from 530i and it does not look like it should go on a 550i. Given the reduction in pipe diameter and much smaller resonator, I think it would net a HP loss by being too restrictive. It's about half the size of my existing Remus designed for the V8 550i.
That being said I am looking to resell this for the $800 shipped that I just paid for it - so long as it goes to a 5 Series owner that does not have a V8.
