Thumbs down

I was thinking of powdercoating as well. On the M5/M6 forums i read of a place in Santa Ana. It's called New Year Metal Polishing. Apparently some guy named Isiah does it. Multiple board members of the M5/M6 forums went there (specifically remember one member named Sunny with a white M5) and they powdercoat the rims and your calipers for $80 each. Including remount and balance i believe. I think they do the lug nuts too and heard that they tint front or rear headlamps / lights. Now powdercoating exhaust tips would be good too - now i'm gonna try to find a shop that does that as well.

Best part is that their turnaround is quick - which is why I waited so long to pull the trigger on other places I found. They powdercoat overnight - drop off at 4 p.m. and pick up at 9 a.m. The number I got from the forum is: 714-749-1783. Also since they keep the car overnight they said that they keep it in a locked / secured garage.

I have not verified any of this but this is what I read a couple days ago when I stumbled upon it on the M5 forums. I'm gonna call them and set something up for October when i'll be around town.

Also another place they mentioned in Westminister is called HMS - guy named Edison 714-519-8710. However HMS is much larger and I dont know about rates, but i assume that it'll be more and only one boar member mentioned them.

Anyway good luck and let us know who you choose and if you talk to either of these that I mentioned please post what the reality is. And remember to post pictures after!

Take it to EuroRev.
It takes about about 3-4 business days depending on the condition of the wheel.

I got my Miros done in 2 days

LAX Wheels. A lot of wheel shops and manufactures bring them to have custom colors done. Ask for Ivan. For other stuff i go to beach city coating. They did my bike.
