if youre post 2005 then you should be able to swap out all the internals from your existing mirrors....however it can be very difficult if your not comfy w/ taking apart $1,000 mirrors hoping to put it all back together properly lol
Bruce M helped me with a ton of questions over the summer while i was trying to do this. but to be honest, if i were in ur shoes id just look for a set w/ the same plug set up....much easier.

I responded to member SD5Series and I happened to know his got the same '07 model year that uses a single plug w/ 3 wires as mine

I bought the euro version with no lettering on the passenger side mirror from darkboyz68. He's a cool dude in person. Also has a nice M3 now!
