hey guys..they will FOR SURE fit the Auto as well...
I have seen ppl done it on E60 and there r many E46 owners who has done this also.
with tat knob u will not hav the push button anymore but the shifter still works the same way. when u need to shift u just step on the brake and pull down the shifter to whichever gear u wanna go. when the brake is not engaged in P the shifter will be locked as it is and u cant shift anywhere. I can guarantee this fitment ... thats why i m gettting one myself too.... anyone interested pls give me a email or PM. thanks

And if you got little kids or a stupid girl sitting next to you and they lunge over to you, your car is slipping in reverse at 60mph.

no it will not slip into reverse at 60 MPH...
obviously there r some ppl who doesnt know much about the transmission on our cars.
the button on the shiftknob has nothin to do with the transmission lock (ie at P or from getting into reverse at higher speed). there is no way u can or will hit into reverse when u r drivin at 50-60mph. the transmission will prevent u from doin that but not the button. Please get to know ur car more before shitting in my thread.
I m just trying to get some ppl together so we can all get a good deal on this.

For one no one is shitting on your thread. Second the car can fly into neutral without hitting the break. Is this practical for an automatic transmission?

Good luck selling your pedals and shifters and whatever the fuck you got for 225 shipped buddy boy

lol I just realized that the car can go in neutral no matter what. Bottom line, its a piece of shit and its meant for a manual transmission
