For any and all parts that are made for the e60, I only buy OEM. You pay more but it's worth it in the long run. Besides, the OEM M5 rear lip spoiler isn't that much.

I already got one of these, but from a different vendor (I think they may be "related" though). I ended up at $128 shipped!

Paint match is perfect (at least for Monaco Blue) and it fits very well. I thought it was worth the risk -- even if it had been junk I wouldn't have lost that much. I'm very pleased and would certainly do it again.
This one is blow molded where I think the OE would be a different material and process. I haven't put it side by side with an OE part to see if there is any difference in the profile, but it looks like it should on the car, so if there is a difference I don't mind. The biggest advantage for me over OE was not having to spend the money and take the time to find someone paint it. It was delivered and on the car in less than 3 days!
I have a limited budget -- saving here gives me more to spend on other mods!

I ordered one of these as well. The paint match was perfect, and it looks great. I have shown it to a number of people, and they can't belive it didn't come painted with the car. I am very satisfied. Like JPJ said above, the best part was not having to go get it painted, etc. Just open the package, and apply it to the car.

For a small decorative item like this, i dont it matters much if OEM or not.. Its not like it will ruin aerodynamic of the car if not using OEM spoiler
How hard is it to install this spoiler?
Edit: Ahh.. they dont have SilverGrey ... I guess additional $45 to paint to A08.
