VRSF makes a set of downpipes tht fit the 535xi models. Much cheaper also.

From the research I have done online, it seems that the VRSF downpipes need to be "dented" in order to clear the axle housing. Meaning the exhaust flow will be restricted and still a lot of heat will be transferred to the axle housing. Or even worse, a large bump or impact to the front axle could cause it to collide with the downpipe. Is this true?

All of my research points to that also. AR Design seem to be the only ones on the market that are are a straight bolt on for XIs.

I just purchased a set from extremepowerhouse.com for $1050. I made an ebay offer than called them for the final haggle.
