hi all,
got the ac style spoiler glued on to my trunk (told the body shop to use tape, but they didn't follow the order ), and want to go back to the stock look. car is an 06 e60 in sapphire black located in diamond bar (los angeles) area
here are the pics and yeah... my car is dirrrty

Hey buddy, may be easier to just turn the car in with the spoiler on, rather than changing the whole trunk, surely they can't complain. Gudluck anyway.

Yeah that's what I would do.

How far off of a difference is Sapphire black to Jet Black? Anyone know?

point taken, but i'm not trading my car in... will probably end up having it taken off and repaint the trunk if theres no taker in one more week

If you want to try to remove the spoiler, try using fishing line to cut the glue from in between the spoiler and boot.

If you have it taken off and the body shop doesn't damage it, I'll be interested in the spolier. Let me know, i'm local...
