OK - Here are scaled down pictures. PM me if you want to see the originals, but I will need an email address. The originals are about 3MB each.
These wheels and tires will only fit the xi cars (530xi, etc.)!
I have a set of four 18" x 8" Style 71 knockoffs that I purchased from Lakeshore Wheel and Tire, with Blizzak LM-25V's (245/40 - 18) for sale. Asking $500 and you pay shipping (help me get my 530xi lowered like cmansbimmer!).
Technical information:
- The hubs are the correct size for the xi cars - just bolt the wheels on and go (the proper wheel bolts are included)
- The offset is 35mm. The BMW spec is for an offset of 43mm. That means these rims will sit 8mm wider on each side. I had no tracking or rubbing problems, nor any other problem associated with tire size (I had no problems at all with these tires/rims, period).
- These tires have 1.5 winters, and less than 5000 miles on them.
- I had NO problems going up and down the steep hills in my Iowa neighborhood in 8" of fresh snow. I even stopped halfway up the hills and was able to get moving without a problem. SUV's eat the slush I kick up. These tires with Hill Descent Control also made getting out of my neighborhood on icy hills possible (yes - I got back in, too).
