FS: Vorsteiner 20" 3pc VS-350 Wheels
Hi All,
I've already ordered a new set of wheels already so I'm listing my beloved 20" Vorsteiner 3pc VS-350 (previously called V-308's) Wheels up for sale (again and for sure this time. I promise I won't change my mind as I've already purchased a new set of wheels). Vorsteiner doesn't make these wheels anymore, AFAIK. This is for wheels only, no tires
I'm the second owner and they originally came with chrome lips and brushed aluminum centers, but I had them powdercoated to gloss black lips with matte black centers. 3-piece forged and they're pretty lightweight for 3pc wheels. Don't remember the exact weights, but I think 27lb fronts and 28lb rears? VRS didn't release the offsets to the previous owner (they don't release offsets period, AFAIK), but they were custom designed for the M5 for a perfect fit. They have a good amount of concavity. There is a decent amount of lip in the rears as well.
Widths are 9" and 10.5" and I have been running them with Michelin PSS 255/35/R20 and 285/30/R20 tires.
The wheels MSRP'ed for $7400 and I paid an additional $700 to have them powdercoated.
Full Disclosure - I was having a leak in my rear left tire/wheel at the bead area. After having the tire dismounted, the wheel shop noticed that there was corrosion at the inner lip area, due to the chrome underneath the powdercoat. This is what was causing the leak at the bead What I learned is that it's typical for chrome to corrode like this. The wheel shop cleaned off the corrosion and said it should be fine now, but when mounting to a tire that bead sealant should be added just in case.
Asking for $3000 OBO picked up for wheels and TPMS. I'll even throw in the 5mm spacers and extra long lug bolts for free if the buyer wants them. I only used the 5mm spacers in the front for that last bit of perfect flush, but they're really not needed.
I'd prefer to sell locally (Bay Area, California), but will entertain shipping at the buyer's expense.
Below are some pictures of the wheels. Feel free to PM me for more pictures or any questions. I can pretty much guarantee you no other M5 owner (at least on m5board) has these wheels.
Thanks!

-----UPDATE-----
I decided to open my wallet and pay to have the "troublesome" wheel's inner lip refinished. This will guarantee that it won't leak at the bead when mounted to a tire.
Price is still set at $3000 OBO local picked up, which I think is fair since refinishing that inner lip cost 3 figures. Willing to ship at the buyer's expense. $2950 if you don't want the TPMS.
The wheels are boxed up and ready to go!

Forgot to mention that these wheels come with Carbon Fiber center caps.
I also noticed a small gash near one of the lugholes on one of the rear wheels. Never noticed it until I was looking really close.
Ready to ship out or be picked up! $2850 shipped with TPMS, $2800 shipped without TPMS OBO.
