I have a brand new, in the box, EVC Electronic EX310 Speed Delimiter. On the installation manual, it states that this module will work on 4 different models: M3/E46, M5/E39, M5/E60, and M6/E63.

that is 100% correct! This would work perfectly for the M5's w/o any ECU remap.
