Swift Motorized License plate for sale
Had this on for couple of days, took it off because this scrapes when going up my driveway.. It has minor scrapes from my driveway, but everything still works fine.. Purchased this thing for 160, yours for $100 shipped. I'll take some pictures of it when I get the chance.

Hey Randy, how much clearance do you need underneath? From your comments, it sounds like you mounted it at the bottom of the bumper right? That's why it's scraped?
What about mounting it underneath the middle bumper section right above the bottom center grill? I assume you'd have to cut the grill for the contraption to slide inside right?

I was thinking of mounting it on the bottom grill like you mentioned, but that requires cutting the grill and all that stuff. I saw someone on youtube that did something like this, so this is doable
Here are some pics..

Some states like CA requires a front license plate but a lot of people prefer to not drill into their bumper and mount a plate to destroy the beautiful front of their car. By doing this they take the chance of getting fix-it tickets from peace officers. This device is a solution to that problem. You don't have to drill holes in the front of the bumper but you can mount this underneath and then have the plate slide out for display during "normal" driving. You can then have it concealed if you're displaying your car at shows or meets...etc...
Thanks for the pics Randy. I looked at my car and even if I was to cut my lower grill I don't think there's enough clearance behind it since the oil cooler is there. I should note that I have a larger oil cooler from RPI so not sure if it would work on M5s with stock oil cooler.
