Well, the way I see it, there should be no problem with these wheels fitting a 2000 Z3.
Stock, a Z3 comes with the following:
Tires 225/50R16
Center Bore Diameter: 72.5mm
Lug Pattern: 5 x 120
Brake Rotor Diameter: 286mm
Overall Wheel Diameter: 24.85 inches
Offset: 18mm
Stock, a 5 series comes with the following:
Tires 225/50R17
Center Bore Diameter: 72.5mm
Lug Pattern: 5 x 120
Brake Rotor DiameterL 324mm
Overall Wheel Diameter: 25.85 inches
Offset: 20mm
So you're only differences are that the wheels are going to be 1 inch larger in total diameter, and your offset is going to be 2mm different. Which means that this should fit just fin. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
