166 wheels will work and fit on a non-M e60. its just the tire sizes of the M5 are not suitable for the non-M. with those wheels, recommended tire sizes are 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear.

285's may not rub, only read one member that reported no rubbing with 255 in the front....
either way GL with sale, since the TPM's are already off...you might have a better chance of selling the wheels separate from the tires...also, where are you/the wheels located?

I am in the market for some 166's, but I only want the rims.
Will you sell the rims by themselves?

i have them on my non m car... so fitment wont be problem except front tire will rub on regular fender.
Offset is little off so if you are going to put 275/35/19 on them then put spacers on the rear to make it look right .

i'm interested in a set of 166's by themselves as well. i didn't realize that the offsets were wrong for the rears? they just don't look like they stick out enough without spacers?

also, other than the rubbing problem in the front with the M5 tires, the rears are taller too and will cause the gearing to be taller, decreasing acceleration.

M5 offset for the R is ET 28, M6 offset is ET 17 (difference of 11mm) . Not too bad, but spacers or the M6 offset wull push the wheels out flush to the fenders. Rear tire size with 275 in the rear is def recc'd if you go with spacers
