I installed a Borla Cat-Back system on my 6-cylinder E60 and have the two chrome exhaust tips left over.
Part number: 18 30 7 534 036

It should fit stock mufflers on all 5' E60 / E61 pre-LCI and LCI, as long as it has the non-turbo 6-cylinder engine. Part cross reference:

Both tips are identical. They are not in perfect condition, with 74,000 miles on them. They can be made shiny with chrome polish. These tips can be used to replace missing tips, or for power-coating to the color of your choice. Matte black would the perfect color to hide the exhaust soot or the go with the rest of a black color exterior/trim. The tips are easily removed or installed with a wood block and rubber mallet.
