These aren't 40w each. They are 20w each (40w total). I have the exact same set for sale.
It's a common practice for companies to advertise the total wattage as a per bulb statistic. And even that wattage is generally blown out of proportion.
If you can prove otherwise using a multimeter if like to see it.
No to rain or your parade but you seem to have joined just to slang these AE's.
