I said about converting coded to uncoded that means the mileage and VIN will be in blank once you install and plug it in. The ECU (CAS) will write them down automatically then will lock them on your new cluster for lifetime. I only can delete the mileage and VIN and make them in blank nothing else. If you buy a coded one, the vin and mileage are stored from another car and stays undeleted unless you want to delete them even if you car need to be serviced, just swap it with the original cluster.
Many dealers won't do that but very few dealers gladly do it for you.
