if you're still there, do you remember how you fixed the new cic controller to the console?

from what ive seen it screws from the bottom? and everything automatically lines up?

did you cut your existing center console trim or order the existing part from a 2009/10 model?

in my case i ordered the factory pre cut trim so im wondering if simply bolting up the controller and bracket/base assembly will automatically line up with the hole in the new center console top trim piece!!
