BROS! I scored some J2534PTT pass-thru cables through a storage locker. I have successfully used it with http://bmwtis.com/ and it works perfecto! You will need to setup the cable and pay $30 for a 24 hour online for subscription.

$112 each delivered.

The BMW OSS info can be found on the site above. I use Windows XP for diagnosis/programming but it states:

Operating System*
Microsoft Windows XP Professional 32-bit, with Service Pack 3
Microsoft Windows Vista Business, 32-bit, with Service Pack 1
Microsoft Windows 7, 32-bit

I don't know if it works well on a 64 bit platform. I'd just adhere to BMW's requirements.

PLEASE PM ME IF YOU WANT ONE.

What up,

Excuse my ignorance but what are these used for? What can I accomplish with the purchase of this pass through cable? Thanks.

No problem. Take a look at the BMW site above to answer all of your questions. If you do not want to visit a shop for dianosis and programming you can use BMW's online site and this cable to do all of that. You just pay for your cable and a $30 24-hour subscription. I used it on a VAG vehicle 2 days ago and worked awesome (2008 Audi A6) friend was so grateful he left with my cable!!
