I have decided not to install my AR downpipes. They are brand new condition with gaskets, nut, bolts.
These were for my 2008 535xi. More info at AR site: AR Design
$925 shipped (in the USA)

I don't know if they (we) are too cheap to buy these, there are just so many stories on the installation process being so difficult and for the guys who got it done, they are located in a specialty marketplace (West Coast basically). Shops here just dont have smart mechanics who know how to think outside the box. AND, here (DMV), the amount of work there is for just basic shit is so high that our shops charge twice what they do over in the West. One shop quoted me 6-8 install time (rediculous!) at $95 per hour. I would love to buy these, but who knows if I can even find a good shop that will put them in even at $600!

Paid $1050 for downpipes new and 550$ installed. Worth every dollar! You have to drop the subframe out to get them in easier. Still a pain but definitely not IMPOSSIBLE!
