Hi Herb,

Do ACS mirrors support memory and tilting down functions?

Are you sure about it or have you seen it working in person? Coz in BMW garage, authorised dealer of acs here, they told me: no folding, no autodimming (that at least I cud beleive coz they are more complicated things), NO TILTING ( for me that automatically means no memory function). But now I never take any of the words of theese "specialists" for granted. It seems you have a lot to do with ACS stuff. Wish you were closer to Europe...

igor
yes it does work and i have seen it working coz i have it installed in my car .

"BMW garage, authorised dealer of acs here, they told me: no folding, no autodimming"

I have not seen any e60 with auto fold mirror .. auto dimming will not work if you dont have the option.

"NO TILTING ( for me that automatically means no memory function)".

ACS mirror does not come with any motor for adjusting thats why you have to use the same oem motor . oem motor works with memory position, reverse tilting and heated mirror

I'm no expert on this and I think it's pretty obvious from the information above but in case it isn't, I'll simply say that it makes sense that the dimming, tilt, and memory functions are going to work since the "guts" of the mirror and it's motors are simply moved from the OEM housing to the ACS housing.

Since the ACS housing is different from the OEM housing, I doubt the folding option (non-US) will work unless ACS provides motors in it's own housing...

No option for the USA, that's why you haven't seen it.

Herb,
Is there an ACS logo on the rear passenger floormats and are they of the same quality, durability as the OEM floormats in general?
