My Ride: E61 535xi
FS: 2008 BMW 535XI E61 N54 Full Part Out
I am parting out my 2008 E61 BMW 535xi wagon; it has the N54 motor and 134k miles but has a spun crank bearing and, consequently, a knock; however, in 2019 (18k miles ago), i replaced both turbos due to the infamous wastegate rattle. When i was replacing the turbos, i also replaced most components known to wear out with all new equipment (water pump, engine mounts, o2 sensors, etc. and have all receipts if desired). Additionally, i also upgraded some components as listed below.
The VIN number is WBAPT73588CX00779 which you can use on a site like www.mdecoder.com to see how the car was originally equipped (or apparently, just click on it from this thread, thanks 5series.net team!).
All parts are located in Puyallup, Washington. Smaller stuff can be shipped (at the buyer’s expense), but bigger stuff will be sold locally; sorry, no international shipping. I have this listing posted in a few different places, i will update each of the listings daily as pieces sell.
Aftermarket Parts: (I have original receipts for everything upon request)
Pure Stage 1+ Turbos - $1300 Sold
BMS Oil Catch Can - $150
BMS Silicon Inlets 1.75in and 2in - $150 Sold
JB4 Tuner w/ Bluetooth Connect - $500
BMS Charge Pipe - $80
For an exhaustive list, check out my google spreadsheet (below) of all available OEM parts (with “Real OEM" Part Numbers/Links), pictures of parts, prices, and availability. The car is 80% mechanically dismantled (not including rear diff/suspension). The Interior is 95% intact if you want to stop by and look at it before I remove/dismantle it. The Interior condition is 9/10, with some light scratches, and the carpet has some dog hair, but otherwise, the car was well maintained, with no kids.
Exterior Color: Titan-Silber
Interior: Leather color: "Dakota"/Schwarz
Google Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
If you are looking for something specific that you don't see listed in the spreadsheet above, shoot me a message.

My Ride: Unicorn: E61 535xi 6sp manual
Model Year: 2008
Sorry to hear you scrapped her. I spun a rod bearing at around 140K but I was lucky to hear of a BMW tech with a recipe to repair the motor and successfully did so. As long as the crank journals aren't (weren't scored) - and mine weren't, Bimmer PHD in Socal recommended the following:
- new OEM oil pump
- new (aftermarket rod bearings)
- BG Dynamic Motor Flush
My indy performed the service with no guarantee as I was the first to attempt this.
Total success. I now have 239,000 miles and counting. Runs like a champ. So sorry to hear the community lost one. My condolences.
