My Ride: 2004 530i, Mysthic Blue, built June 2004, Cream Leather Interior, Dark Woodgrain Dash,
Do these tail lights work on the Euro cars, as I need my indicators to be Orange.
Im not sure if there is a SPECIFIC Euro set of Tail lights and a US based set of tail lights.THE US use the RED INDICATORS which are part of the Brake system, and this is not appropriate for us here in AUD.
I also have the rear Fog lamps, so someone will have to advise on the forum as to the differences of the pre-LCi tail lights.
Im not sure if it is a matter of just installing the right bulbs or it is a sealed unit which has all components included and this is very specific to Euro and non-Euro. I want these as a spare pair, so in no rush, just the right answers to help me understand.
Just looking at the photos doesnt help.
I want them for a little country DOWN UNDER, where we adopted the UK approach to traffic and signals.
appreciate all and any feedback.

Here is a link to what the difference is between the pre-LCI and LCI cars. With pre-lci cars, there was no difference in indicators. It is the LCI cars which have red indicators in the US instead of orange like the euro cars. From the pictures you can also see, the LCI cars have LEDs in the brake section, instead of just bulbs.
In short, the pre-lci tailights above will work on your euro car and look exactly like whats on there now. The rear fog lights are the same on both pre-lci and lci cars.

SOLD!
Thanks for your reply and clearing up that the PreLCI are the same across the world over.
Just checking to see that they are no longer available. Sometime you never knwo until you ask.
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you, but other matters took priority over the last couple of weeks.
So, just a PM to advise or point me to another person who may have a preLCI set available.
