Running a 245/40-18 on the M5 would give you a 4.2% error. The 245/40-18 is closer to stock size for the 550i. HTH

Thanks for the feedback. Makes sense. I was starting to think I was crazy with all these people questioning the aspect ratio on the tires.
Cheers.

Since I've had a lot of requests for info and shipping costs, thought I would note on here what I've learned so far:

- Packaging: I have heavy duty cardboard boxes used for shipping wheel/tire assemblies. These protect the items inside and survive the abuse UPS/FedEx dole out. One wheel/tire assembly per box. So the shipment will be 4 boxes

- Shipping from Cleveland: So far, the cost for UPS Ground shipping in the continental U.S. ranges from $150 to $185 total for the 4 boxes. Chicago, Wisconsin, NJ, Iowa are some areas I got prices for. Shipping to Canada (Toronto area) will run approx. $280-300 for all 4 boxes. Guessing this includes duty and other admin fees at the border.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Rain today....Snow tomorrow. Good deal on a great package. Don't want to split them.
