I just ordered a leather M5 shift knob for my 545, and so I am getting rid of this CF one that I had installed. Here is a pic of it:
NOTE: the reason I am getting rid of it (and the reason it is free) is that the carbon fiber piece on the lower half of it has come loose once again (I glued it back w/super glue, and now it is starting to pop off again). It doesn't handle changing weather very well (fits great when warm, but not so great when colder, and the cold mornings w/hot afternoons has started making it pop off). If you have the patience or think you can make it work, then go for it.
You pay shipping (which should be less than $10).
I should be able to ship it next weekend when my new knob comes in.

Sorry guys, I got this one. I'm restoring it to it's original glory and then I'll see if I wanna have it instead of the weighted M5 knob

So I received the shift knob from FedEx today - I have to say, you guys really messed up by not getting it - it is a great looking piece. The piece that was coming off is attached... well, sort of - it has that look like someone's done some unnessesary glue applications there but you know, I can't complain - for the cost of shipping (I think it was like 5 bucks after all said and done - I haven't even checked my fedex acc) this is a great acquisition. And it should go very well with my CF fabric project, so I'm just going record with bug Thanks to E for contributing the shift knob - rest assured, there will be a thread full of pix when I get this whole project done
