Default Feeler: WTB Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS)

Anyone here parting out their 2007 5 Series? I think I'm going to need a IBS module, which is connected to the negative battery terminal. I'm having high battery discharge issues and the battery tests fine.

Sensor has to be from an '07 because there was a part number change either prior or after.

I know. I PM'ed him. I just wasn't sure if he still had the vehicle since his thread started 6 months ago.

There are a couple of other 'full part outs' going on here too. I'm pretty sure IBS is the same across all models. There is also a way to completely disable it, if you're interested in that. Good luck.

Mine's currently disconnected, Kyle. They changed the design in one of the years prior to mine because it was susceptible to moisture. Not sure if there was another post-LCI redesign.
