Well I believe it's worth is around $20K, i haven't taken it in to get evaluated yet to a rolex dealer etc. but I'm assuming it's worth around that much. Brand new I think it's around $30k and i havent seen any anywhere less than $20k. Amazon has it listed for $29k so I dont know.... This was a gift from my lolo before he passed away so im no expert on this stuff. I still keep the watch in it's original box and hardly EVER wear it.

There are quite a few stainless steel models under $9k new from an authorized dealer. Many are between $5k and $7k. (datejust, submariner, explorer, GMT). Adding gold jacks up the price real quick. If you buy gray (through a non-authorized dealer), you can get the watch with box and papers for 20%+ off list.
I have purchased quite a few used at excellent prices and they are now all worth more than I paid for them. Obviously, you have to be careful buying used because there are plenty of fakes and they keep getting better and better.
