F/S: 2001 540i 6-speed black/black 87K miles former CPO!

$15,200 obo (located in Nashville, TN)
For sale, my 2001 BMW 540i with M-Sport Package. It is a rare black on black combo with the 6-speed manual transmission! I?ve owned this car for about 15 months and she has been a joy to own and drive. I?m only selling it because I recently bought a 2004 545 (e60). Mileage is 87,295 miles. I am the second owner.
When I bought this car from a dealership in Nashville it was a BMW Certified Pre-Owned and, as a result, it has had all major work already done to it. Before the warranty expired, the dealer had the radiator and thermostat replaced (this shows up in the CarFax report) to fix that tricky German cooling system. If you?ve researched the e39 version of the 5-series, you?ll know cooling issues were reported by quite a few owners. Nothing to worry about with this car?it?s already been replaced!
Another issue with the e39 5-series was the Camshaft Speed Sensor. This was also replaced during my ownership only a month or so ago by BMW Nashville to the tune of about $1100. While they had the cam broken down, they also took care of the timing chain and various drive belts. I have the receipt for this. She?s good as new and ready for another 90K miles!
This car features:
--M-sport package
--Premium package
--Rare 6-speed manual transmission (just an incredible joy to drive)
--Upgraded M5 replica wheels (matching 17? all around) Style 65. These are only a year old.
--Toyo Proxes 4 tires (235/45/17 Z rated). Matching all around so you can actually rotate them. These were new when I got the car so they only have 15K miles on them. Rotated regularly and in great shape.
--DSP Sound System with Business Center CD
--Xenon headlights
--Sunroof
--Black leather interior with wood trim
--M-sport floor mats
--Rear cupholder installed!
--All books, manuals, and receipts PLUS TWO KEYS (this will save you $200, easily)
--Everything works flawlessly on this car. Never had an issue with electronics which is saying something for a Bimmer!
Known cosmetic problems:
CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. There are only a couple cosmetic dings and they are pictured.
--The passenger seat is a bit worn but is not torn or cracking. Only worn. This could be easily fixed with a nice reconditioning process using a product like Leatherique. I just haven?t had time to do it.
--Near the back right tire there is a ding which I have pictured. I lost a battle with a curb I didn?t see and backed over? This could likely be touched up with Dr. Color Chip but I?ll let you decided if it?s worth it.
--The only other scratch that is noticeable is on the front left bumper. This is typical road rash for a low to the ground car like the 540i sport. Again, could be easily touched up.
Other than that, it just has the typical unnoticeably small speck here and there.
Motivated to sell this car and will end the auction early for the right price. Call and make me an offer! Cell: 615-948-9266. Or email at danny.sawyer@sitel.com.

It looks likes it is in great shape.
How do you like the 545i in comparison?

I really like it. I didn't get the Sport package on the 545 I have now and it's an automatic so each car is different. Unfortunately for me, I end up spending most of my time in the car in heavy traffic so the auto tranny won out in the end.
