My Ride: 2009 550i M Sport - All options except HUD
e60 OEM goodies for sale
Wheels/Tires
OEM Rear lights
OEM Headlights
Details:
The following is worth disclosing:
1. One front and one rear wheel has scuffing on the edge of the wheel which can be fixed. I didn't bother since it was minimal.
2. One rear wheel has a nail NEAR but not on the corner. If this cannot be patched, the tire can be replaced at a fraction of the price.
The tires have less than 5000 miles of travel on them. They were purchased the last summer for $1,500.
4 - Staggered 18'' OEM Style 124 Polished wheels with TPM - no center cap AND tires
Tire measurements - Rears: 275/35/18
Fronts: 145/40/18
RealOEM list the wheels at $400 apiece. They are yours (Wheels and Tires) for $1500. I am willing to ship and if you are located in the bay area or Sacramento I may be able to deliver to you.
OEM Rear lights - fully functional - Harness included. Real OEM list these at $245 per pair. You can have them for $400 for the pair.
RealOEM.com * BMW E60 550i Rear light
OEM Adaptive Headlights
Disclosure - the a-hole who replaced these unfortunately broke the glass on one of the headlights but I imagine its still useful. RealOEM list price is $1268 per light, BOTH are yours for only $1500.

Just a heads up. People usually give those pre lci tail lights away for free. Or maybe get $100 for the set if they lucky. And those pre lci headlights are broken. A mint good set goes for about $500, LCI headlights go for $1500. Why would you try and rip people off on a forum...

Would love to assume you're joking about ripping people off because that is definitely not my plan.
I honestly have no idea what the secondary market is for these items and no major desire to find out.
In fact the secondary market is based on what the buyer is willing to pay, so if anyone wanted these items but didn't want to pay the listed price, all they have to do is make an offer...
I'll refrain from escalating your drama by assuming you we're joking.
Anyone who is interested, make an offer and we can deal.

Hello, while Evolution's approach wasn't optimal, his message (about the pricing only - not about any attempt to ripoff anyone) was correct. Pre-LCI tails have little or no value anymore since just about everyone wants LCI tails only. Headlights would have to be in mint condition to fetch $1500 for the set, this is easily verified with an eBay search. As for the wheels? Chrome is not the most popular finish on wheels around here.
Still, taking all that into consideration - Good Luck With Your sale.

Thanks
I'll prolly just toss the lights. It's not worth this silliness.
This is the dirt time I've ever paired anything online for sale but I obviously need more practice :-)

I wouldn't toss the taillights - they might come useful to someone, at the right price, who has been rear ended. Likewise with the headlights, they are not of any use as functional headlights - too much damage, but for someone looking for a cheap set to practice installing Orion angel eyes, for example, they could prove useful - again for the right price.

Just for future reference, when selling items on this or any other forum - search around a little. Try to see what the parts you're trying to sell are going for in an enthusiasts market. That would give you a better idea of a starting price and it would avoid the "you're way over priced" or "you're trying to rip people off" comments. Those people are not necessarily being mean spirited, some are trying to protect fellow members from a fraud and some are just giving you a "heads up" albeit in rougher terms than most are used to, lol.
