My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
Default

This summer I bought the E Race from a M5Board member and installed the driver's side muffler on my 545i. (Follow the link in my signature for that story and sound clips.) Unfortunately, I am relocating overseas for work and must return the car to stock before getting rid of it.

The exhaust had 3k miles on it when I got it, and I added an additional 4k miles to the driver's side. The passenger side has been sitting in my closet the whole time.

Besides some road grime, the condition is good except for a small dent on the inlet pipe on both both driver's and passenger's side. The previous owner had the dents and they are cosmetic, do not affect sound or performance. (Although if you install it on a regular E60, you will lose backpressure due to the system being designed for the V10. But you'll have the loudest car on the forum ). Below is a pic of the dent on one of the mufflers, taken before the previous owner installed it on his M5.

I'm asking $1500 OBO. Prefer local deal because I don't have boxes, but could ship if need be. Thanks!

Bump means that he wants the topic to come to the top of the list for more attention. Maybe he wasn't happy with your offer (in the PM) and want to let everyone know that it's still available.

Some ppl write "ttt" what stands for "to the top" instead.

It gives the topic a new entry with a new time code and bumps it up the list, to the top.

Why he used bump, I dunno. He could have just wrote: need to get rid of these by friday.

Anyways, no you know what it means. And I am giving this thread another bump with this post.
