The Supersprint headers were introduced into the market in January 2004, and offer a good product that will provide measurable horsepower and torque gains. The headers have been designed to make installation easy, as the primaries are individual. This means that when the headers are being installed, the M5 (e39) and 540i (e39) engine will have to be rocked back-and-forth. Most other headers on the market do not offer individual primaries, which means that the engine has to be removed (lifted) for the headers to be installed.
