Hi, can someone please tell me wich is the normal temperature for a diesel engine?(530 d)
I checked the hidden obc menus and now afer replacing egr thermostat it shows 73-78 C driving in town, for 30 min.
Didn't get the chance to check it outside town.Outside temp -10 to -15 C.
I was wondering if I should replace the main thermo as well.
thank's.

Try to put this post somewhere else than in the classifieds, and you'll get some answers :-)

The temperatur should be 84-88 deg btw. It may be your EGR thermostat that is leaking. Mine did, and the temp didn't exceed 78 deg. Changed the EGR thermo and all is good.

Tommy.

It's more likely to be both EGR thermostat and main thermostat both need replacing. There is a large thread on this.
