Fellas,
I picked up this CCC unit and the 8.8" screen just two weeks ago without realizing its pre-LCI and won't really fit in my car. It's up for sale (as-is condition, no guarantees past what is said in the post). I tried to install it to make sure its working and I am a 100% sure both power on and seem to work. I got as far as "Please insert the Navigation DVD". The disk that came with the car is pretty scratched, so I am not sure why it wasn't read. Also, the CCC has a rusty bottom, but all seals are intact and there is no damage.
At this point, both are up for grabs for $450 (which is really what I paid). I would have loved to finish the retrofit but I will have to get a custom-made panel to accomodate the switches for heating etc. from the LCI and fit the pre-LCI CCC front.
If you have a pre-LCI car and are interested in retrofitting a pre-LCI CCC, this is your chance.

You will need to open up the front. Replace the screen and the CCC unit and buy a panel from the dealer to close it up. The car will need to be coded to enable navigation. There are a lot of people who have finished this retrofit who you can ask to chime in for help.

If you really need someone to retrofit, you might be better off buying a set from them. Most people will charge you an arm and a leg ($500 each approx), making it an expensive affair.
