well I never mounted it, they say its suppose to tighten the chasis and make your car more stable and improves handiling and steering. as well as the look. thats what i heard but i can't really tell you from experience since i have never had one on my car.

I don't know i was very frustrated, i wasn't sure if i wanted to mod my car or not, I had diffrent ideas i wanted to go everything carbon fiber, then decided not too. I sold my m-kit and pretty much everything i had and this was left over. this should fit on an inline 6 for sure i'v seen other drivers with the aluminum strut bar on thier car with the same plates and screws. So i am still deciding on wehther or not to continue w modding or just give it up. MY main problem is i want to mod my car but it isn't fast enough for me. So im trying to save up an get an m5.

how about you test fit it since its "one of a kind" and take a picture so other members can see that it does indeed fit

First gotta say thanks to the seller for a smooth transaction. Second, what an amazing job he did of carefully packaging everything up.
It took all of about 10 minutes to install. Actually took longer to remove all the packing material.
Now on to my thoughts of the strut brace. By no means is it a night/day difference (and I certainly didn't expect it). It does stiffen the chassis up a bit. Took it for a quick test drive through the twisty road by my house. Going through the turns it felt a bit better.
Here are Before and After Shots.
