BMW Journal
#1
This is for the member who has almost everything and wants to complete his collection. For lack of a better term, I'll called it a journal. Could have called it a diary, but that didn't sound very BMW.
I have an 8 3/8" x 6" x 3/4" bound journal of plain (unlined) pages. The cover/jacket appears to be leather, but I can't be sure with out damaging it. The cover has "BMW" stamped in the lower right hand corner. The journal was fabricated in Italy by Pinetti and is packaged in a custom sized cardboard box. The box has a label with part number 99000003827.
As I recall, 10 to 12 years after a long drawn out battle with BMWNA over the replacement of the engine in my 740i (nicasil/alusil debacle), BMWNA sent me this journal as a peace offering. Since I haven't used it in the past 10 or 12 years, I doubt I evey will.
If any member would like to complete their collection of almost everything, please make me an offer. Just to break the ice, let the offers begin at $20 plus shipping from 21784. If you live near Baltimore you can save the shipping cost. If you think $20 is too much, offer me anything. If you would like better or more pictures please let me know.
Thanks,
Bill
