Does anyone know if this will work side by side with the BMW Ipod Idrive unit/interface? It should right? since the ipod uses the CD changer. What does this use?
I might consider purchasing the whole unit from you, is it still available?

My Ride: 2004 545i, April 04 build- Titanium Silver/Gray/Poplar, Nav, PDC, rear & side sun shades. Added DVD/TV w/ monitors on headrests, dealer activated bluetooth phone for Idrive, Formula One Pinnacle Tint, Replica ACS front spoiler, #124 staggered wheels w/ non-rft Pirelli tires.

My Ride: I have a 2007 Black Sapphire BMW 530i with SMG. It has the auburn interior, has PDC, Sports Package, Premium Package, rear automatic sunshades with manual side sunshades, 35% black tint, Upgraded angeleyes from Angelibrights, and Logic 7 Sound System

I will buy- but is the unit 6-3 (non navi) or 8-3 for navi units??? I will buy only if it is 6-3 because i dont have navi and i have four way i drive.

I have navigation. I think the I-drive control unit is 8-3.

what is the unit called, because there are like 4 of them out there. If you could find out and tell me if it works with my car or not, I will buy it. When did you buy it? Because the recent ones have the capability of being used on both and switching between the two. Thanks.
