well. if you break it down, you can get the tails for $520 shipped worldwide.
And the cables shouldn't cost $420. I've gotten them for half the price.

There is a lot more than just the box that is different on the V6 than previous models. All previous models (except v4.1 and v5.1) had relays inside them, the V6 is solid state with absolutely no moving parts. The Metal enclosure also serves a purpose, it acts as a heat sink for the resistors inside the modules.
