AUX cable
A few of my buddies with e60's wanted me to add AUX to their cars so i got some supplies to make some for them and ended up with a lot of extras. so i made a handful of some thought i would help out fellow members while i have these. 25 shipped (if sent as gift via paypal, or cover fee, 26.00). I even replaced the one i got from the dealer on my e60 with my own, just because i wanted to use a shorter cable. easy install, will print out the instructions for you, link you to installation video i filmed, and coding video. easy simple install. just have to have the car coded for the AUX to work on idrive.
anyways, cable uses very flexible wire, same pin connectors as the OEM, can be made anywhere from 2ft to 5 ft if you want. and its way cheaper than dealer. I've only installed these on e60's so not sure what other models they will work on.
25 shipped (if sent as gift via paypal, or cover fee, 26.00), PM me here, or email me roskincdavid@gmail.com if you want one, any questions or help with install.

With your instructions will I lose my Cd changer?... Another member said with his method I keep my cd changer versus BMW instructions which I would loose it. And do you charge more for the 4ft cable vs the 2 ft. Im pretty sure ill need 4ft because I plan on running it in the center console. Also did you make your own because of the sound quality on the BMW cable?

What I meant to ask is have the resistors been removed to allow better sound?....

yeah no resistors on this cable. i actually removed them from the original dealer cable too when i got that one. sounds WWAAAAAY better (louder and more bass), and have had no problems removing it from the dealer cable or using my own cable.
you should still be able to have both CD changer and AUX cable use. i did some searching while on lunch and coudnt find anyone saying otherwise. i havn't installed this AUX in a e60 with a 6disc changer and i cant find any wiring diagrams for the install to see if they take the place of where these AUX cables go (i hope some members with experience can chime in) but im almost certain that they don't. sounds like a raw deal the dealer would force on us to choose CD changer or AUX...i know that choice is made when you choose CD changer or Ipod interface. long as you have the X13813 connector on your harness for these pins to go into, you should be OK.
and no extra charge if you want 1 foot, or i might even have enough for 5 ft. but like me i wanted little cable as possible, the e60's i installed these on the cable where only like a foot, as i drilled a hole in the back of the center console pocket, so it was right under the mask. mine is like 2 1/2 ft i have mine in my glove-box.

Got u bro... I'm gonna install it just dont know when I'll have it coded waiting on this dude who did my coding to make another trip he should be around within the next couple of weeks hopefully sooner then later. Just snatch up the cord while you can tho, $25 can't beat that we all spend that on bullshit during the week, lol. I'll check back in once I get it done for sure.
