I noticed alot of people want to trade their chrome shadowline for a black shadowline to make it look like the m5's. in my opinion i like chrome. so if you wanna trade let me know thanks!
(would like to have a local pickup/trade made if possible)

I have to say it is not that people want to "look like the m5s" rather pretty much all bmws have shadowline in the past not just m-cars. You could say m-cars put shadowline in order to look like regular bmws with sport packages. Either way its something most bmws have always had and some people just prefer the sleek look. But assure you it has nothing to do with looking like an m5!

Isn't it difficult to remove/reinstall the trim?

darn, Should have told me 5 months ago. I would have you the trim for free. I threw mine away.
And no, its easy to remove and install, just have to be careful.
Good luck with the swap. Just be really really careful with removing the pieces. They are easily bent. There is a DIY guide for the removal and installation of the trim.

Yeah, I don't know about the shadowline trim, but I heard the chrome bends pretty easily. Not 100% sure though since I've never done it.
Just make sure when you swap, that the other person's trim isn't bent or warped at all.
