I saw what was posted.
I still asked if we could order the 2.0 first so that it would be easier for me to get the new bulbs, switch them out and ship the old ones back instead of hassling with the remove/install more than once....
But it seems like we can't so..... :'(

Yeah, it does suck. Especially because we E60 owners have one huge headlight to remove instead of two smaller piecies ala the old E46. I swear that headlight housing is the rubix cube of headlights to get in/out. Since I'm doing some foglight upgrades (HID), I've found it much easier to just take off the whole freakin bumper and the headlights just slide right out ![Devil](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/devil.gif)

Even getting to the headlight easier doesn't neccessarily mean it'll be easy to remove the Angel Eye bulb. Just removed my AIBs today to return for v2.0. Errrr.... Damn you BMW for designing such a crappy headlight housing. ![Fcuk](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/fcuk.gif)

Yellow never looked so...ugly. At least the FM radio comes in now
![Wacko](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/wacko.gif)
But in my case, half the bumper screws are already out as I'm modding in a complete set of 6000K. New DS2 xenons, HID foggies and AIB 2.0s with some Hoen flashers just for the hell of it.
A few kinks in my plans a la Moore's law, one of which was the fact that it got real cold, real quick here in MD. So my plans are on ice for the time being - no pun intended.

andi don;t think v2.0 is brighter it don;t seem like it
![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
i already got 2ticket v1.0 is bright enought ^^
Has anyone else ran into the issue of police hassling your for the brightness of your AIB's? I want to get them because I think they look way better than OEM but do not need any more reason to get pulled over.

I don't quite see how you can get pulled over for the AIBs unless you have them on without turning on the xenons. Most likely, this is the scenario? Only time I'm worried is if I have the red or blue AIBs.

Cool, thanks! That's what I was thinkin. Based on AIB's website, they say they are legal except for the colored lights. Can't wait to get them and install. Think I can still take advantage of that group offer @ 289.00? Website says 329.00 for Ver. 2.0 AIB's. Thanks for the feedback.

Did you check that the alignment of the headlights are correct? My left side was off and I spent about an hour playing around trying to make the left headlight fit flush with the fender. I missed the first 8 minutes of the Super Bowl yesterday b/c of the stoopid design of the headlights.

Guess that means mine should be here tomorrow. Great. make me eat my words about installing them in the cold. MD's low temp + windchill = 10 below zero. :'(
