If someone is interested make an offer. If you feel 27K is fair, then make a serious offer. I don't understand why someone would randomly comment if they are not making an offer.

Car will possibly be traded in today, ordered car is arriving in days, any reasonable offer will be considered.

I would much rather somebody I know having the car other than the dealership marking it up 8 thousand!!!!

If you don't mind could you post what they give you for trade in? I'm just curious. I can't imagine they give you much more than 24k. What are you getting to replace?

They are offering low 20's for a trade. They are offering below blue book but selling as low as 30K to as high as 35K listed for retail..

I don't know how it is in the state You live at . Here in IL we get trade in tax credit, so if You are trading it in first see if it is worth to sell it because if You do so You pay tax of the full car price instead of the difference between that one and Yours. So if someone will offer You let say 27 and dealer gives You 25500 selling it on Your own does not make sense. Just what I think... Good luck anyway!

I'm in Maryland.. If it were that close I would receive an offer within 2 thousand I would trade it in as it is different. However, at this point, no offers. I would rather sell it to someone since I know the dealer will mark it up several thousand. Anyway, if you know someone who wants the car, let me know, I need to sell it within days or I may just take the trade hit.. or not if I can give up the new car I wanted.

I am planning to trade in the car on Wednesday. I am now selling for my approximate payoff. The economy has really affected the selling of this car. Another 2K reduction.
